Morten Creek SEP

Beginning of the Morten Creek SEP - 1989

Due to overpopulation of coho fry, and lack of security at the original Keith Creek site, the project was moved to the north of of the Premier Street landfill in the summer of 1989. As it was an unused leachate ditch, volunteers did some restoration work on it, and named it Lynnmour Creek, after the sponsoring school. An aluminum in-ground box was used at this site for two more years, increasing capacity to 30,000 coho eggs.
